Peter Brantley is the Director of Digital Library Applications at the New York Public Library. Prior to this, he served as the Director of Scholarly Communications at Hypothes.is, the Director of the Bookserver Project at the Internet Archive, and the Executive Director of the Digital Library Federation. He is responsible for the popular Books in Browsers, an annual conference for internet publishing companies focusing on developers and designers who are building and launching tools for online storytelling, expression, and art. He is also a contributing editor for Publishers Weekly on topics of internet publishing, libraries, and copyright.
